Comber Consultants include Archaeologists, Architects, Historians, Anthropologists
and other specialists. Comber Consultants can provide the following
services outlined below.
Cultural Heritage Management
Comber Consultants undertakes Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal (Historic)
archaeological site
surveys, assessments and excavations, including community
consultation and the provision
of management recommendations.
All Aboriginal archaeological reports are prepared in accordance with
the Department of
Environment and Conservation’s “Guidelines for Aboriginal
Heritage Impact Assessment”
and “Guidelines for Aboriginal Consultants’
Reports”, whilst all Historic archaeological reports
are prepared in accordance
with the NSW Heritage Office’s Heritage Manual.
Comber Consultants also assess buildings, structures and landscapes to
prepare
Statements of Heritage Impact and
Conservation Management Plans by:
- coordinating with the NSW Heritage Office and Local Government to provide Heritage
Advisory services and Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community based
Heritage Studies.
- providing advice to members of the community, develop and implement
strategies to promote cultural heritage conservation and provide Cultural
Heritage Education and Training.
